Ravindra Jadeja Controversy: Sore Finger Or Ball Tampering

After Ravindra Jadeja controversy over a viral video developed, Australia spinner Steve O’Keefe called accusations that Ravindra Jadeja tampered with the Ball on the opening day of the first Test “BS.”

Tim Paine, a former Australian Test captain, was one of several who observed what Jadeja was doing before one of his overs.

With Alex Carey and Peter Handscomb at the wicket, Jadeja arrived for his 16th over already having stats of 3-30, and the Australians were 120-5.

On television, Jadeja may be seen grabbing something with his right hand, either from within his own hand or from the hand of one of his teammates.

He stroked his hands and finger close to and around the Ball after that, however it was unclear exactly what was happening at the time. He may have been applying something on his spinning finger, according to some theories.

India was 1-77 at stumps after day one of play, with Jadeja finishing with scores of 5-47 as Australia was knocked out for 177.
