Hun Yew Kwong lost his beloved son, Ethan Hun Ze Kai, in a tragic and heartwrenching incident that occurred on 19 July 2021 at River Valley High School.
The tragedy unfolded when a 16-year-old boy killed his 13-year-old son, Ethan, with an axe inside the school premises.
The attacker was charged with murder on 20 July, but since he was a minor, he could not be sentenced to death if found guilty.
After turning 18, the attacker recently pleaded guilty, and the prosecution sought 12-16 years imprisonment. However, the defense, sought 5 years of imprisonment.
