Career

Natalie Portman started off her career at the age of 12. It was the time when she got featured as the young protegee of a hitman in the action-drama film named ‘Leon: The Professional’ which was released in the year 1994.

In 1998, Natalie Portman made her Broadway debut through the production of ‘The Diary of a Young Girl’ and earned huge popularity even at the international level. She got recognition for playing the role of ‘Padme Amidala’ in Star Wars: Episode 1- The Phantom Menace’ in 1999.

From 1999 to 2003, Portman attended Harvard University for a bachelor’s degree in psychology while starring in the Star Wars prequel trilogy (2002, 2005) and in the Public Theater’s 2001 production of Anton Chekhov’s play The Seagull. However, after completing her studies, she didn’t stop looking back and moved forward to get more acting gigs.
