Career
He is best known for performing Lucas Scott in the drama series One Tree Hill from 2003 to 2012. Murray recurred role as Tristan Dugray on the drama series Gilmore Girls from 2000 to 2001. He acted as Charlie Todd in the fifth season of the series Dawson’s Creek from 2001 to 2002.
He also performed caring roles in the films such as Jake in Freaky Friday (2003), Austin Ames in A Cinderella Story (2004), Nick Jones in House of Wax (2005), and many more. After that, Chad Michael performed another supporting role in the series Agent Carter from 2015 to 2016. He had a reoccurring role as Edgar Evernever on Riverdale in 2019.
The actor has three brothers and one sister. He studied at Clarence High School and became a fan of literature and played football.
As a teen, he broke his nose. In 2004, he spelled out in an interview, “I got started in a Burger King when I was 18 and had my nose put on the other side of my face. It was three guys–what the hell was I supposed to do? The doctors didn’t even worry about running X-rays. They just reset it. But it wasn’t a nose job–I hate the information that people say it was a nose job!”
